How can I tell how large my picture will be when printed? Each background pattern has a custom sized picture frame created to highlight your picture. To help you visualize the actual size the small thumbnail images represent a piece of paper that is a 6 inch by 6 inch square. The preview of the paper which is the larger picture you see after selecting a thumbnail shows approximately what the paper would look like when used to wrap an 11.5 inch by 8.5 inch box. This is a common size and is referred to as a blouse box. The larger image you see after you have finished fitting your picture into the paper represents an area that is 9 inches wide by 6 inches tall.

What does the wrapping paper look like? PicturePaper® is a heavy weight wrapping paper with a matte or flat finish. We use six process colors in our printing process to give you outstanding color tones. This is, however, wrapping paper and not photographs or posters, so expect about the same quality as you see when you print on your desktop printer using regular 20 lb. bond paper.

Is the wrapping paper easy to use? We spent over six months selecting the best paper on the market for our wrapping paper. It folds crisply and is strong enough to resist most tearing at the corners. As with all paper products you should use care as it is, after all, paper.

How is the wrapping paper packaged? After we have printed your unique wrapping paper we inspect by hand, re-roll the paper and place it into a plastic bag. These rolls of gift wrap are then placed into the shipping cartons and mailed to you.

What type of images can I use? Photographs, oil paintings, water colors, pen and ink drawings...let your imagination run. What happens if I upload a file that is not an image file that PicturePaper® gift wrap can use? If you attempt to upload a file that is not one of our supported image types, you will receive an error message telling you that the file could not be loaded and be given the opportunity to try a different image.

Can I use more than one picture on a design? We can only accept one picture to be printed on a single design. You can order multiple designs using different pictures and/or different papers.

I found some old photos of my parents, does the image have to be color or can it be black and white? The image that you use can be anything and any color. You get to pick the paper that will best highlight your images qualities.

I can't seem to make my picture fit into the paper I wanted to use, is there anything else I can try? Unfortunately, not all papers can work well with all pictures. If you have picture editing software you can often extend the background area to allow your picture to fit well within most papers. This will usually solve the problem where your picture doesn't fill the space in the paper. There are a variety of papers to accept circles, squares, ovals, diamonds and rectangles. Usually you can find a paper that works well with your picture. We are constantly adding new paper designs, so check back frequently.

What can I do if I don't have a digitized version, can I send you the photograph? Unfortunately no. Under no circumstance should you ever send us a picture, painting, image or any item other than a digital file through the internet. We suggest you find a friend or work associate who can make a digital file for you. There are also numerous photo outlets that can also provide this service to you. We are sorry but there are many reasons that caused this policy to be established. If you do send us any material it will not be returned and the terms and conditions of the web site will be applicable.

Shipping

When will my package ship? You can track the progress of your order at any time by selecting Current Orders from the My Account page. This will show you when we expect to ship your package and will also show when it has actually shipped. The expected shipping date is also displayed to you on the shopping basket before you place your order.

How long will it take for my package to arrive? We currently ship only from the east coast and the transit time should be about 3 days to anywhere in the country according to the USPS. Those in the western part of the country or in more rural areas may experience slightly slower delivery, but it should be similar to your regular letter mail. The Current Order section in My Account will show you when we expect to ship your package and, using USPS guidelines, when you should receive it.

Can I have my order shipped more quickly? Yes, if you choose, you may elect to have your order Expressed Mailed to you for an added charge. Delivery should be overnight to most locations. Please check http://webapps.usps.com/expressmailcommitments/landing.jsp and use 20176 for the origin zip code to determine the USPS delivery commitment for your location. While we can offer to ship your package more quickly we always print all orders in the sequence they were received.

Why do you only ship using the United States Postal Service? We have tried to select the most economical method to ship to any address within the United States. By utilizing the USPS we can also ship to PO boxes and eliminate problems for our customers who don't want to have deliveries made to their offices or home.

Can I have my package shipped outside the United States? At this time we are only shipping our products within the United States.

Can I have my package shipped to an address that's not my billing address? If you are using your PayPal account we will ship to any verified address that they approve. By shipping only to those addresses we eliminate some fraudulent orders and are able to keep our prices lower for everyone else.

What kind of package will I receive? Most of the time your order will be shipped in a round or triangular shipping tube that is about 24 inches long. For larger orders we will use alternative types of boxes.

What if my package is damaged or lost during shipment? If the package or contents are damaged when you receive it or you fail to receive your order AND you have purchased shipping insurance you may file a claim by emailing us at orders@picturepaper.com.
